The Odyssey at B.O.A.T review

(Taken from Director Andy Hoggarth's FB feed)

Thank you to Peter Buffery for the lovely review.

“Odysseus: war hero; the genius behind the Trojan Horse; leads his men, battling temptations and out-smarting monsters to return home to his beloved wife, Penelope. Somewhat reminiscent of the ancient Greek amphitheatres, the performance took place at the Brighton Open Air Theatre which accommodated this production beautifully. Utilising an eclectic range of mediums from song, physical theatre, puppetry and dance, All Greek to Me draw parallels with today’s political landscape while delivering a humorous, well-paced performance. All Greek to Me aren’t afraid to share the bones of the production with the audience, needing no light trickery to enthuse the imagination; although a strong catalogue of original music and some household recycling aided the narrative and aesthetic of the play. A thoroughly entertaining and authentic theatrical experience.”
